The MBA for Executives: Leadership in Healthcare program at the Yale School of Management is designed by healthcare professionals for professionals aspiring to lead in healthcare. The focus, educating leaders who can make an impact on the challenging problems in the healthcare sector, is an expression of the ethos of service that has inspired Yale for more than three centuries.
The School of Management’s MBA curriculum, purposeful community, and close integration and involvement with its home university all combine to give students a distinct advantage as they develop their skills. Over the course of the 22-month program, students work with other professionals from a wide range of healthcare sector interests to share ideas and approaches to problem solving. Through this time in the classroom, individual and group assignments, formal and informal interactions with faculty at SOM and across the University, and with healthcare business leaders, students develop a deeper understanding of the healthcare industry and the opportunities and challenges facing business – thus preparing them to become leaders in this sector.
