Feb. 27 BAHM Webinar on Private Equity in Healthcare

Amid reports highlighted by news organizations and academic literature, including BAHM’s journal, HMPI, BAHM has organized a webinar on ideal standards for health care PE for Friday, February 27, 10:00-11:30 am ET. The purpose is to expose students to thinking about PE in healthcare when standards of practice are adhered to that benefit patients and communities. The webinar will cover PE activity in OECD countries, as well as emerging markets. The format includes: a panelist who is CEO of a hospital affected by PE; a panelist from a major US PE fund that completed a successful investment measured by both financial return and impact; Dr. Amit Verma, Quadria Capital, India/Singapore; and Irfan Kahn, the CEO of Evercare in Dubai/Lagos.
