The Executive MBA in Healthcare Administration (EMBA HCA) at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business is an AACSB-accredited, lock-step program that has prepared working professionals for leadership in healthcare for more than five decades. Welcoming its 56th cohort of students in 2025, the program condenses a full MBA curriculum and healthcare–specific coursework into an intensive 22-month schedule that meets on the top floor of Baruch’s Newman Vertical Campus in Midtown Manhattan.

Each cohort brings together clinicians, administrators, and managers whose diverse experience enriches classroom discussion. Instruction is delivered by Zicklin faculty, visiting scholars from peer institutions, and senior industry practitioners, ensuring both academic rigor and real-world relevance. Hallmark experiences include a week-long international study tour that compares global delivery systems, a guest-speaker series on emerging sector trends, and an entrepreneurial capstone in which student teams pitch innovative ventures to a panel of healthcare executives. Graduates advance to C-suite and other senior roles across a wide range of healthcare organizations that reflect the diversity of the field and the diversity of populations they serve.
