Announcing the 22nd Annual Wharton Health Care Business Conference!
The 22nd Annual Wharton Health Care Business Conference — “The Innovation Game: The Race Between Entrants + Incumbents” — will be held February 18-19, 2016 at the Union League of Philadelphia.
With healthcare at an inflection point, this year’s conference will focus on the major challenges faced by early stage entrants and incumbents alike in the race to achieve innovation at scale. Who is best equipped to emerge as the future market leaders? What are the bounds of competition and cooperation? And how will the policy context affect “the race” in 2016 and beyond?
Bringing together more than 500 industry leaders, Wharton healthcare alumni, faculty and current MBA/WEMBA students, the 2016 conference will offer participants unparalleled access to distinguished speakers and networking opportunities with individuals from across the payer, provider, life sciences, healthcare services, VC/PE and digital health landscapes.
Mainstage presenters will include Zeke Emanuel, Vice Provost for Global Initiatives at UPenn (and a major architect of the ACA), John Lechleiter, CEO of Eli Lilly & Co., Mark McClellan, director of the Health Care Value Initiative at the Brookings Institute (and a former director of CMS during the Bush Administration), Farzad Mostashari, CEO of Aledade Health (and former national coordinator for health IT), and Elisabeth Rosenthal, healthcare correspondent for the New York Times.
Early bird registration opens November 1 at www.whcbc.org ($35 early / $40 regular for students with ID). Email us at info@whcbc.orgfor more information!
