The pandemic has put women+ health¹ in the spotlight, highlighting gaps in health outcomes and broader inequities that persist, especially for women of color. Women have not only been disproportionately impacted by illness during the pandemic, but more than 2 million women in the U.S. have left the workforce, and nearly 50% of mothers with children reported their mental health had worsened during the pandemic, compared with 30% of fathers.
