Graduate students from universities across the nation converged at Baylor University October 20 and 21, 2016, to compete in the second annual Robbins Case Competition in Healthcare Management. The Robbins Institute for Health Policy and Leadership at Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business hosts the competition to provide a forum for master’s degree-level students to participate in a national case competition in healthcare management; competitors are chosen from among CAHME-accredited and BAHM-affiliated programs.

Winners of the competition earned national recognition plus monetary awards. Baylor University’s team took first place and $12,000. The University of Washington-Seattle earned second place and $8,000. The Ohio State University garnered third place and $4,000.

Teams participating in the 2016 Robbins Case Competition represented Boston University, George Washington University, Saint Louis University, The Ohio State University, Trinity University, University of Alabama-Birmingham, University of Colorado-Denver, University of Washington-Seattle, Virginia Commonwealth University, Xavier University, and Baylor University.

Preparations are underway for the third annual case competition which will be held October 12 and 13, 2017.
