BAHB Board Member Pinar Karaca-Mandic, professor at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, has been leading a COVID-19 Hospitalization Tracking Project that developed a new visualization tool using facility-specific HHS data on COVID-occupied hospital/ICU beds by county. The tool supports resource planning and allocation across the U.S. hospital system and has garnered considerable attention:
